Gregory Elms was born in Echuca, Victoria, and is based in Melbourne, Australia.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from RMIT Melbourne, and a Post Graduate Diploma of Visual Art from VCA Melbourne.

His work investigates the natural world exploring themes of reality, mortality and the sublime.  His work is in numerous private collections.
